I have been working as an Administrative Officer in the department of the Taoiseach since January 2017.In September 2017 I was assigned to the Government Information Service. I work on continuing professional development, streamlining government communications and the promotion & evaluation of government campaigns. I initiated and organised a 2 day workshop on mobile journalism for press officers of government departments.I contribute to responses for Parliamentary Questions and Freedom of Information Requests and have been responsible for the procurement for the unit.I sat on interview panels for the recruitment of communications and media assistants and for the appointment of a live streaming service for the Citizens Assembly.

Responsible for developing and producing content for the MerrionStreet.ie site and social media channels including YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.Developed a Live Streaming solution for broadcasting Press Conferences from the Press Centre.My work has appeared on RTE and TV3 news as well as on many news websites including the Irish Times, the Examiner, The Journal, Broadsheet.ie, BreakingNews.ieand IrishCentral.com. It has also been used at the Irish Film and Television Awards ceremony and as part of the 2013 EU Presidency launch in Lithuania. Introduced Mobile Journalism techniques, decreasing turn around times for posting news elements to social media channels. Introduced a photo management solution to the unit.My photography has been featured on the front page of the Irish Times and Sunday Independent. Works frequently with the Taoiseach and Government Ministers as well as representatives of State Agencies such as the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.
