In this role, I supported the CEO of a hybrid press and publishing services company. I wore many hats as I supported our team and our authors in the publishing and marketing of our titles. Job duties included managing launch campaigns, communicating with author-clients, coordinating asset creation with our team, maintaining data and documentation, and much.

For over 6 and a half years, I taught English at every grade level at an inner-city high school in the South Bronx. For 5 of those years, I specialized in teaching 9th graders with low reading and writing scores. Most recently, I taught upperclassmen, including a section of AP English Language and Composition.

Using my knowledge and experience in ELA curriculum, I assisted in the creation of a Web 2.0 application designed by NBC Universal, for use by students in the classroom and at home. I provided reading lists and vetted media content for education validity.

As site coordinator of a summer enrichment program serving 2nd and 3rd graders in Brownsville, Brooklyn, I was responsible for recruitment and enrollment of campers, overseeing a staff of 11 counselors and instructors, procuring and replenishing supplies, handling petty cash funds, making staff changes, coordinating daily schedules, mediating conflicts.
