Currently, Brazil accounts for 40% of Eurochem's market.I have been working in agribusiness for 20 years, covering roles in industrial, project, and process areas within the sugar & ethanol and soybean industries, as well as positions in supply chain, logistics, planning, and strategy for major trading companies in sugar, grains, and fertilizers. Throughout my career, I have worked for some of the world's leading trading companies, including ED&F Man and CHS, and, since 2018, in the fertilizers business at Eurochem. Additionally, I have held a position on the advisory board at Andali S/A and served on the executive board at TCN - Terminal Corredor Norte, in Itaqui Port - São Luis/MA.Agribusiness is one of the most important sectors in Brazil, as the country is a leading producer and exporter of agricultural commodities such as soybeans, corn, sugar, ethanol, coffee, and more.Despite significant local infrastructure challenges, I led Eurochem Brazil's supply chain team, increasing fertilizer deliveries from 1.8 million tons in 2018 to over 6.4 million tons in 2023, while expanding port operations from 5 ports in 2018 to 12 ports along the entire Brazilian coast in 2023, establishing Eurochem as the third-largest fertilizer company in Brazil. In parallel, I implemented the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, building an integrated planning department from scratch. This initiative required overcoming challenges such as the lack of structured historical data, integrating multiple company functions, and fostering a collaborative, process-driven culture.I am a chemical engineer, graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil – Universidade Federal do Paraná. I recently completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP85) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which provided a transformative perspective on leadership and strategic impact.I am passionate about running and have participated in several half marathons, achieving a personal best of 1h:42’. In 2024, I took on a new challenge and completed the Berlin Marathon, an accomplishment that required discipline, resilience, and focus - qualities I carry into my professional life.
