From Feb 2019 to Sept 2019, I tracked and analyzed scholarship data a community college with over 25,000 students of all ages. I managed all merit scholarship interviews, and corresponded with committees and donors about awards and recipients. I also resolved student questions about financial aid in person and by phone, and helped out at events.My role expanded, and in March 2020 I added responsibilities related to general financial aid, and as of July 2020 I am the lead team member on reviewing and processing emergency grant applications.

I write articles and blog posts in collaboration with marketing agencies and their clients. My work focuses on issues in technology, science, and business, such as managed IT services, machine learning, and automation. I also worked with an AI-assisted recruiting company called Sourceress in the first half of 2019, crafting customized recruitment content targeted at software engineers around the country.

I helped coordinate programming, outreach, and editorial content for NaNoWriMo, a writing and education non-profit based in Berkeley, CA. My duties included organizing and planning the yearly 30 Covers, 30 Days program and managing regular blog posts, as well as helping plan fundraising events and hosting webcasts. My editorial content reached tens of thousands of users across Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Youtube.

Wrote and edited nearly thirty articles for web and print about food, culture, art and news in St. Louis, under supervision of Editor-in-Chief Sarah Fenske. Highlights include a spotlight on a nonprofit distributing sanitary supplies to women in Ethiopia; plans for Maya Angelou’s childhood home; political activism following the 2016 elections; and unusual but romantic uses for squirrel meat.
