Mr. Comeaux is a seasoned land use and transportation urban planner who has addressed program and funding requirements at the federal, State, and local levels. His experience includes helping the American Planning Association update its surface and freight transportation policies, leading multiple contracts and task orders, developing federal acquisition guidance for political appointees, working with State and local stakeholders such as the City of Port St. Lucie to designate April '24 as "Bike Safety Month," and leading development of the 2014 MTS Assessment Report to Congress and the MTS Federal Funding Handbook for the Committee on the Marine Transportation System, under the White House Infrastructure Initiative in the latter case. Finally and more recently, he has been helping communities in Northeast Florida with comprehensive, land use, and urban/rural planning issues.His skills entail leadership, mentoring, program and project management, advocacy, analyses including economic development and forecasting, aviation, urban and transportation planning, bicycle and pedestrian planning, freight and port planning, grant research, and risk assessment. His dynamic experience has included multiple federal agencies such as the U.S. Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Transportation. He is also a certified project manager and urban planner with experience in all modes of transportation, including air, rail, roadway, transit (microtransit), micromobility, and maritime. He has worked on practically all aspects of transportation including freight, passenger, emergency management and response, urban and rural planning, trip generation, bicycle/pedestrian circulation, aviation, and high speed rail. Moreover, he has address comprehensive planning, zoning and related issues.Finally, he is also an entrepreneur which leverages his leadership, administration, marketing/business development and unparalleled communication skillsets.
