About Eric Smith

I have been a professional software developer since 1993 and have focused on the Microsoft .NETplatform since 2001. I have worked both as a full-time employee and contractor at a variety of industries and client sizes. I have both participated on and led teams in both small and large development projects. I live in the Indianapolis area and have no desire to relocate. Tip for recruiters - if you're recruiting for an out of town project that requires that I be on site, I'm not your guy. In 1999, as a way to give back to the community, I became an EMT-B (basic). I enjoyed this field immensely and in 2008-2011 went back to school to earn my paramedic license. I have worked for both private EMS companies and municipal fire/EMS agencies. At this point, I work part-time in the emergency department of a county hospital.
