Coordinate with logistics service providers &… Show more Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, & procedures to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency. Coordinate activities across the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, & inventory management.Transportation Management: Plan & manage transportation routes, modes, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs. Coordinate with logistics service providers & negotiate contracts.Warehouse and Inventory Control: Oversee warehouse operations, including layout design, space utilization, and inventory control. Ensure accurate stock levels, proper storage conditions, & efficient order fulfillment.Order Management: Coordinate order processing, tracking, and fulfillment to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with sales, customer service, & production teams to ensure seamless order execution.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, and compliance issues. Implement strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risks.Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Utilize data & analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.Vendor and Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, suppliers, & vendors. Evaluate their performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, & operational efficiency. Implement lean methodologies and best practices to improve logistics operations.Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, & performance evaluations.
