District Science Centre, Gulbarga functioning under National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India involved in dissemination science through various educational extensional activities in Gulbarga District and also in the adjoining districts. Gulbarga, the headquarters of erstwhile Bahamani Kingdom is now a fascinating place with unparalleled attractions including historic monuments, works of art and cultural contributions. Situated in this land of distinct heritage DISTRICT SCIENCE CENTRE, GULBARGA engages itself in dissemination of science through interactive exhibitions & through non-formal method science education. It is a place of recreation in science. The centre provides a perfect ambiance to explore science through hands-on expositions, Planetarium, 3D theater, Science Park, Dinosaur Park, Mirror Maze, Galleries on Popular Science, Fun Science, Electronics , Mathematics etc. It presents a plethora of facilities to inculcate scientific attitude in society. In order to nurture innovation in young mind INNOVATION centre started in June 2017.CENTRE TIMINGS: Science centre is kept open all the days of the year except on Ganesh Chaturthi & Deepavali between 10.00am - 6.30pm.ENTRY FEE TO THE SCIENCE CENTRE : Rs. 20/- per head for general public. Rs.15/- per head for students groups (Pvt. institution) Rs. 5/- Per head for students groups (Govt. institution) ENTRY FEE FOR 3D THEATRE : Rs. 30/- per head for general public.
