Black Square Simulations creates study-level light aircraft simulations and learning tools for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the longest running software product line of all time. The products are designed to meet the standards of the most serious simmers looking to learn aircraft systems or instrument flying from the comfort of their own computer, or home cockpit. Black Square's aircraft feature a diverse lineup of avionics and radio navigation equipment from the last 40 years of aviation history, all reproduced with meticulous attention to detail. The aircraft also feature complete subsystems simulation, such as: electrical, hydraulic, pressurization, fuel, climate control, and more. The all encompassing failure system can even be connected to an instructor station for enhanced training.

In 2017, a team of pilots and engineers founded AutoFlight to augmented an existing certified aircraft with a suite of prototype hardware and software to enable optionally piloted, gate-to-gate autonomy in a Piper Cherokee 140. A full generation of prototypes later, the AutoFlight team is ready to seek investment in bringing their autonomous aircraft technology into a more capable category of aircraft, and into the air cargo logistics industry for use in 24/7 pilotless operations.

Modern video sharing and filming techniques allow my peers and I to capture nearly lost information about flying that has only appeared in print until today.

Responsible for acquisition or design and construction of support equipment and apparatuses to facilitate testing of the Boston Dynamics humanoid ATLAS robot operations in preparation for the DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC).
