Renewed strategic focus to encourage and boost Domestic Direct Investments (DDI), create wealth and jobs to curb the challenges faced as the result of dwindling oil prices and scarce of foreign direct investment (FDI).ii. Coordinate all activities related to the provision of support services within states to potential and present investors and internal/external stakeholdersiii. Engage relevant stakeholders across the States to position the States to be investor friendlyiv. Targeted investment promotion for beneficial foreign direct investmentv. Organize, coordinate and participate in Business and Investment Forums (BIFs), Seminars, Conferences and Road Shows within and outside the country to showcase the investment potentials and present Nigeria as the preferred destination in emerging markets;vi. Target high net-worth investors, transnational corporations (TNCs), and Nigerians in the Diaspora;vii. Undertake investment analysis and country strategy.viii. Collect and analyze industrial investment data.ix. Coordinate matchmaking arrangements and organizing business meetings between Nigerian businessmen and potential investors and initiating and monitoring follow up actions.x. Organize interactive sessions with relevant stakeholders like the Diplomatic Communities, Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Business Support Services, Organized Private Sector Operators, High Networth Businessmen and The Press.xi. Collate the database for the Commissionxii. Prepare reports and briefs for the Department and the Commission in some casesxiii. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the Department and most cases for the Commissionxiv. Work to sustain investments and investors already doing business in Nigeria.xv. Encourage and support investments and investors to expand and/or diversify.

Department of Investor Relations, Information Technology Unit and Department of Investment Promotion:i. Assist in the provision of efficient support/ pre- and after- care services to prospective and existing investors including FDI tracking and collating. ii. Assist in keeping records of all foreign direct investment inflow into the Country.iii. Arrange and attend PowerPoint presentation by Investors.iv. Writing of minutes for departmental meetings, memos and letters. v. Processing of business permits and pioneer status applications.vi.
