Neeraj Dahiya: Journey So FarTravelling and exploring new places, people, and nature has always been my dream since childhood. My journey began with my schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya and a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. Despite my technical background, my passion for travel led me to a career in sales and marketing.#Early Career: 1995 - 2005I started my professional journey as a Sales and Service Engineer at a company specializing in garage equipment. This experience paved the way for a significant tenure at AVL India, the world’s largest privately-owned and independent company involved in the development of internal combustion engines, instrumentation, and test systems. From August 1996 to 2005, I climbed the ranks to become the National Manager - Marketing, overseeing pan-India marketing and customer support teams. This role required extensive travel across India and parts of Europe, which fueled my passion for exploration and set the stage for my future endeavors.Reflecting on my 11 years in the corporate world, I realized that while the corporate "jungle" was rewarding, it wasn't my true calling. The structured timelines and processes of the corporate environment contrasted sharply with my desire to explore the natural world.#Transition to Entrepreneurship: 2005 - 2015In December 2005, I decided to leave the corporate world and founded Tangent Inc, a company dedicated to comprehensive travel solutions. Initially, Tangent Inc focused on providing extreme adventure tours and rich heritage tours across India. Our services took travelers on enchanting journeys to some of the most beautiful destinations, offering diverse activities and immersive cultural experiences. Tangent quickly established itself as a premier travel firm, catering to all the needs of travelers.#Innovating in Hospitality: 2015 - PresentSince 2015, Tangent Inc has been at the forefront of revolutionizing the hospitality industry with innovative white paper solutions designed for standalone hotels, resorts, and wellness centers.
