A dynamic food systems, food safety and nutrition professional, and a researcher by training with multifaced experience in working across government, United Nations, and private sector. Ndaindila holds an outstanding record in implementing effective food safety and quality management systems. Along with her international experience at the FAO Headquarters on food systems and the sustainable bioeconomy. Her experience at the Namibian dairy, meat industry and exposure to the Swiss food processing sector have equipped her with practical skills in designing food safety management systems and promoting food systems transformation. Currently, she heads the Food Systems and Nutrition Programme Unit at the United Nations World Food Programme in Namibia, overseeing the implementation of WFP’s food systems, and nutrition programmes countrywide. A Ph.D. candidate in Sociology, focusing on food systems, social behavior, and rural transformation, she holds an MSc degree in Food Safety, Hygiene & Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice and an Honours Degree in Environmental Health Science. Her interests are in Food Systems Transformation, Food Safety, Food and Nutrition Security, Policy Development, and Food Safety.
