I'm an organizer, leader, and activist, I've started organizations and have brought change to many communities in a variety of ways ranging from education to politics. I have my Master's in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.A. degree from the number 1 public university, UCLA, in political science, specifically race and ethnicity politics; as well as being a proud community college transfer student. I'm the Founder and CEO of a non profit Yellow Heart Committee (yellowheartcommittee.org), which is a non profit mobilizing to support the holistic mental health of trauma survivors. I built the non profit from the ground up and have proudly grown to have over 40 active members doing work across the country for survivors of trauma.I am heavily involved in education, serving on the FSUSD equity committee, and have a passion for education policy and implementation. Additionally, I developed my own Ethnic Studies Curriculum titled "Understanding Commonalities and Differences" under the direction of the renowned Dr. Pedro Noguera, Dean of USC's graduate education school.I have worked on numerous campaigns, organized dozens of community events, published work, and been on countless panels and given a myriad of speeches ranging on topics of Education, DEI, race relations, politics, housing, sexual violence, women's rights, mental health, and more. I am excellent at public speaking and always looking to be vocal and speak up for the right causes.
