I am committed to effective project management, the sustainable construction, the renewable energy development, the sustainability and the railway development.I have been working for more than 14 years on high-impact infrastructure projects of various types, such as hydroelectric plants, NCRES (Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources) generation plants, highways, industrial facilities, sustainable buildings and railway systems.I have participated in the different stages of the life cycle of a project, from conception to the O&M (Operation and Maintenance) phase, through pre-feasibility, feasibility, due diligence, conceptual engineering, basic engineering, tendering, detailed engineering, construction engineering, installation, commissioning and start-up.I have participated in projects deployment from different fronts, as a designer, contractor, consultant, auditor and client, where I have built and been part of high performing teams based on the principles of value focus, trust and effective communication.Due to my curiosity and interest in continuous improvement, I am a person in continuous learning and in constant evolution, which added to my years of experience has allowed me to consolidate myself as an integral Project Manager, with competences in project execution, strategic management, and technical and business management.I do believe there is always something to contribute and to learn.     I was in charge of ensuring the effectiveness of the design processes, review of designs, design optimization, management of Contractors and Suppliers, interfaces and integration of the Centralized Control System (SCS) of the First Line of the Bogotá Metro (PLMB), in order to maximize the company's capabilities. As part of the interdisciplinary management of the SCS, it was ensured the interoperability of the metro railway systems (e.g. CBTC - Communications - based train control, SCADA systems and communications systems, among others), integrally linking the project with the RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), HF&E (Human Factors and Ergonomics) and QA/QC (Quality Assurance/ Quality Control) areas.This allowed us to avoid cost overruns by 10% for the acquisition of products and engineering services.

    I was responsible for the conception, planning, execution, control, monitoring and closure of infrastructure and energy projects of different types: power generation (hydroelectric and NCRES (Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources)), industrial, road (ITS) and buildings for the control and communications department of the electrical division and at a multidisciplinary level. I was responsible for the management of resources and project activities, the development of new projects, the elaboration and materialization of plans and business models, as well as the technical and administrative supervision of projects at divisional and interdisciplinary level.I was in charge of multidisciplinary project teams with more than 30 collaborators and with budgets of more than 1.200M (COP).As a result of this management, we reduced transaction costs between technical disciplines by 15% and reduced rework and rework indicators by 20%. In addition, we reduced by 15% the backlog in the definition of requirements and criteria, which in turn resulted in a 5% acceleration in the completion of projects.
