About Nicole Dimella
An editor’s eye and the heart of a photojournalist. A lifelong art student, I have worked as a photographer, with photographers, and with photography my entire career. I believe in the power of pictures to change the world and to grow brains of all ages. My brain grows every day by looking at pictures. As a mom of two school-aged kids and spouse to a public school teacher, I have special interests in projects related to education, media literacy, the arts, social justice and history. Because learning from the past will help us to see the best way forward. And what's a more direct, more interesting way to learn about the lives we lived and the lives we are living, than from photography?
