ADISI-CAMEROUN is a non-governmental organization in Douala making access to information easier for Cameroonians. During my internship there I performed following activities:✓Updated the design of their website and improving the SEO.✓Conceptualised and currently building their software projects using UML for in depth system analysis, Figma for UI/UX design and Reactjs, Django, MySQL for building and used Docker as environment.✓Worked on an opendata software project✓Assisting personnel on software and hardware related problems.✓Learning how to perform basic maintenance on computers and network devices.

Worked on the frontend of an E-commerce website along with a fellow developer and backend developer. The website had interfaces for both client and administrators. The clients could view products and promotions, manage items in cart and orders. The administrators could manage products, promotions, orders and feedback.The frontend was built with Reactjs and Redux toolkit for state management and API calls. The UI of the application was highly customized so we used SCSS.The backend of the application was built using Expressjs on NodeJS. We used Amazon S3 for storing media files and mongodb for storing other data. The interactions between MongoDB and Express were facilitated by Prisma ORM.The website was hosted on Render.com. The frontend as a static site and backend as Web service.
