But for all the skills and practical expertise he gained in his corporate past, he came to hate what traditional accountancy stood for. The spreadsheets. The detachment. The goddamn elevator music. All of that was precisely what he didn’t want to be a part of. Meanwhile, bubbling away in the background, Nick had nursed a lifelong obsession for music and the arts. Had he been a better DJ, he might have just run off and done that. Instead, he decided to put his passion and his profession together and do accountancy ​his way ​ . In 2017, he founded BigStar Business Management and Accountancy. And he’s not looked back, building a roster of world-beating talent from both the front and back stages of the entertainment industry - all of whom share his belief that good accountancy and business management should be actively in sync with career ambitions, aspirations and success.
