I am a Mechanical Engineer currently working at Applied Medical as a Process Engineer. In my free time, I enjoy working on my computer and expanding my coding knowledge, as well as playing sports with my friends and coworkers.During my time at UCI I've had the chance to work on many interesting engineering projects with many different engineers across all disciplines. My projects range from designing a hopping robot using a pneumatic cylinder or a music box module designed to be integrated with dozens of other similar projects, to working on an expiremental suspension prototype and managing a team of engineers as the mechanical team lead for our 2014 FSAE competition electric car.

  I currently work as a lead process Engineer for the process development department of Applied Medical. My current responsibilities include:• Managing multiple projects aimed at improving product health, such as yield improvement, cost reduction, and design updates from the design and development phase through production release.• Using SAP/PLM and Design Control Procedures to create and fulfill Product Lifecycle Management deliverables.• Reviewing and approving documentation generated by Process Engineers, such as technical protocols, reports, BOMs, material masters, routers, and other Design Control deliverables.• Reviewing and approving Engineering drawings in accordance with GD&T• Running Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) projects, aimed at eliminating specific non-conformances.• Running Test Method Validations (TMV) and validating current production systems using Statistical Process Controls (SPCs).• Working closely with many other departments to complete deliverables, such as R&D Engineering, Quality Control, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, and Production.• Troubleshooting production non-conformances, such as machine errors, to determine the root cause and generated NCIRs to document findings.• Running IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications on new components as well as new manufacturing equipment• Designing mechanical fixtures for manufacturing use• Creating pFMEA’s and other Risk Management reports.• Working on a product with over 60 unique sub-assemblies and components, as well as the manufacturing process required to produce said components.• Working in a clean room environment, and knowledge of the materials required for such an environment.• Working and coordinated with outside vendors for the delivery of parts and/or services.
