Provided litigation support for clients on wide range of environmental litigation cases:•Manage investigation of Polychlorinated Biphenyls in stream sediment to assess client's liability for downstream contamination, including development of Access database and GIS, preparation of sampling plans, analysis of fate and transport of environmental contaminants, writing memo’s to clients describing results of research, and preparing cost estimates and follow-on work proposals•Develop analysis and report detailing the historic timing of PCE and Stoddard Solvent release to assist client in liability dispute with insurance company, including developing Access database and GIS for analysis of sample results, writing expert report, conducting research on historic dry cleaning operations, interfacing with experts to incorporate their opinions into report •Oversee research and preparation of expert report for mediation between client and environmental engineering firm that resulted in the award of $2 million to client. This included preparation of figures for presentation during mediation, presenting progress to clients and attorneys, reviewing historic environmental regulations and project communications, and writing expert opinion •Manage research into historical industrial activities on properties near client's site to identify potentially responsible parties associated with release of perchloroethylene (PCE), including meeting with clients and writing memos summarizing the results of investigation, development of cost estimates and follow-on workplans, developing a GIS, conducting historical research on previous environmental issues, excavation oversight, and creating graphical representations of results
