As a Zonal Head South and West, I am involved in setting up & spearheading the Infrastructure finance business in South & West India. With a team size of 40 Senior RMs and portfolio worth INR 15000 CRORES (70% of Company’s book size), I am handling the ABFS and Structured finance for this organization with the focus on construction, heavy earth moving & port handling equipment. I am developing & nurturing relationships with clients in the infrastructure space. My clients include AFCONS, SHAPOORJI, ACC, GMR, SADBHAV, IRB, ASHOKA BUILDCON, DIAL/IBM, SHOBHA DEVELOPERS and GAMMON INDIA. My other achievements include: Won The Best Region Award 4 times out of 9 Regions in the last 5 yrs Played instrumental in getting the award for the Best Branch out of 30 branches in all the five years.My responsibilities include cross selling of products like insurance, project finance, renting of equipment, investment banking, BOTs etc. I co–ordinate with the credit monitoring team in order to continuously tract the performance of the accounts and ensure qualitative portfolio management including receivables management, process management, productivity & compliance management.

I joined SREI in 2003 to lead a team in the west and over the period of my tenure the annual disbursements increased to INR 4000 Crores from a meagre INR 40 Crores during FY 02-03. AUM from 40 Crores to 2800 Crores during the same period. I also played a vital role in increasing the no. of branches from 4 to 14 in the west. The primary responsibility included building a long term business presence for the company among large & mid size Infrastructure players in West by catering & offering need-based financial solutions. Some of my significant achievements include: Boosted the Corporate Image of the Group in the Western Region of the country viz Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa by conducting the largest Regional PKN (Paison Ki Nilami) with the participation of over 2000 retail clients with over Rs.100 Crores business in a single day.  Streamlined the portfolio to absolute Zero NPA (without restructuring any of the loans) with a loan book size of over INR 18 Billion consistently for 5 years  Credited with the Best Region Award 4 times (out of 9 Regions in 5 yrs) During my tenure the branch won Best Branch award out of 30 branches in all the five years.  Due to sheer comitment and excellence, I was soon promoted as Sr. Vice President.

I was handpicked to be the Vice President from a post - Sr. Project Executive, which was handled earlier in my tenure. My passion, integrity, diligent work ethic, enthusiasm, organizational skills, and overall instinctive political and government affairs knowledge, earned me the position. With a team of 15, I handled the HP and leasing portfolio worth INR 50 crores, merchant banking activities with a fee of INR 5 Crores per annum including broking and depository activities.During this period, my other responsibilities included handling IPOs, rights issues, and share buy back and took over assignments for various corporates. My noteworthy achievements include:As a Vice President I have revived the Delhi branch by clocking over 200% growth in fee-based income, 60% decrease in cost by way of restructuring efforts.  Achieved NPA recovery of 80% of HP\Lease Port folio after dispensing with lending by critically evaluating Lease –HP portfolio under the Indian legal system, there by effectively using the tools Mobilized Tax-free bond at a Path breaking rate against the market trend for PSUs and successfully sold securitisation as a concept and a product to Institutions like REC, PFC and Hudco Established the brand Indbank in Coimbatore in HP\Lease market and Managed SI Bank Ltd. IPO against UTI Bank IPO with higher Subscription Post 1996 Stock market crash.(1996-97)A straight shooter, with the talent to simplify processes, ensures transparent communications and influence bottom-line profitability.
