Drafted, analyzed, negotiated, and reviewed grants, contracts, consultant and vendor agreements, real estate leases, construction contracts, and service agreements; streamlined contracting process by creating standard templates, and reduced the contract turnover time by 50%. Developed corporate governance policies for the executive board of directors; hired and managed outside counsel. Finalized the FAA certification of the aviation maintenance school for the region, and procured equipment pursuant to the contract cost principles and procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Managed a team including legal support, a tribal justice program manager who acted as a liaison between individual tribes and the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance and Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Tribal Justice and two guardian ad litems for child advocacy matters.
