Hi! Hello! Bonjour! Hallo! Hola!My name is Natalia and I am a Biomedical Engineer graduated from AGH, University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland with the specialisation in Computer Science and Electronics in Medicine. Thanks to my uni I have developed a strong foundation in both engineering and computer science, but not only. I believe that the most important thing that I have learned during my studies is actually ability to learn fast and efficiently various topics.I have over 2.5 years of experience as a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer at Samsung, where I have gained extensive knowledge of Voice Assistant technology (do you know Alexa from Amazon? or Siri from Apple? Well Samsung has a great assistant as well - Bixby!) and worked with large datasets related with Automatic Speech Recognition, so speech speech and one more time speech in not one, but four languages :) I was working with development and adaptations of acoustic and language models (even before became so popular). I am proud to have contributed to the development of this widely used voice assistant and that I have a possibility to work in such diverse environment. Additionally as a Product Owner, I successfully led the commercialization of our project across four European markets (Germany, France, Spain and Italy). I was also creating impactful presentations and conducting training sessions to onboard new team members, taking part as a speaker during internal conferences and writing research papers.Currently, I am a Software Engineer and Data Analyst as a Fellow in the IT Department at CERN in Geneva, where I have the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to very exciting projects. To be honest I still don't believe that I got this amazing opportunity to get to know CERN from inside. I am working mainly on two projects, one of which involves developing web tools with database knowledge and creating monitoring dashboards. A lot of data, even more scripts and API querying, but also there is a need to prepare dashboards for higher level management and make the data understandable for them. The other project focuses on benchmarking computing resources, such as CPU, ARM and GPUs (development and data analysis) and process automation for the ATLAS experiment. I am also happy to share my knowledge with others and have experience giving presentations on various topics related to my field.I am excited about the challenges and opportunities that my work presents and look forward for new exciting projects! I am open to new opportunities :)
