Pandanus Evaluation is a consultancy group that specialises in the design and conduct of high quality, practical and participatory planning and evaluation. The Pandanus team has over 20 years’ experience working in Australia and the Asia Pacific, including Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, and Fiji. We support government and non-government agencies, Indigenous organisations and community groups design and implement ethical and practical planning and evaluation processes for their own programs.

In this role, Nea was responsible for• Management of external projects undertaken by the Organisation (the CRCAH is a partnership of Australian universities, Aboriginal health organisations and government departments)• Management of the CRCAH Company, AHCIP Ltd• Design of monitoring and evaluation systems and processes• Evaluation development support and mentoring for partner organisations and staff• Evaluation and project development and management consultancies

In this role, Nea was responsible for:• Management and Leadership of the VAT Project Technical Training Program • Provision of leadership and educational guidance for the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs and capacity building activities undertaken by Australian and Vietnamese staff and consultants• Development, implementation and management of the VAT Project monitoring and evaluation system• Development of monitoring and evaluation framework for the Vietnam Australia Capacity Building for Effective Governance Facility (CEG)• Facilitation of the development and implementation of the GAD and poverty reduction frameworks• Provision of advice to other AusAID funded projects in Vietnam and Laos regarding the establishment of training and monitoring and evaluation systems

Nea's consultancy work included:• Provision of policy advice, analysis and support to the Health Development and Community Services Division, Territory Health Services• Evaluation of Territory Health Services health promotion training programs• Facilitation of strategic planning workshops for a range of government and non-government organisations.• Aboriginal Health Worker Training Literature Review for Commonwealth Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health• Development of package to introduce the Aboriginal Health Worker Career Structure (incorporating the National Competency Standards for Aboriginal Health Work)
