PuffinAs President of the Puffin Foundation I have been intimately involved in the workings of the Foundation for more than two dozen years. This includes the creation and ongoing operation of: the landmark Puffin Social Activism Gallery at the Museum of the City of New York; the Puffin Prize for Creative Citizenship; and the Foundation's annual emerging artist grant search, which helps fund hundreds of meaningful artistic projects with grants on an annual basis.NYPIRGAs NYPIRG's Government Reform Coordinator I am actively involved in our work for more representative and transparent state and local governments. I have placed a particular emphasis on reform work in New York City. Many years of advocacy have helped developed a particular expertise in the area of election reform, including: hands on voter registration; eliminating barriers in the registration process; agency based registration efforts, monitoring of the State and local Boards of Elections, voting systems, voter education, voter participation and many facets of election day monitoring.Puffin Foundation
