I am a Board Certifiied Gastroenterologist practicing in Greenwich, Connecticut. I completed training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Campus in 2009 and have been in practice since. I perform all endoscopic procedures including Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. I have received additional sub-specialized training in Endoscpic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).I have special interests in colon cancer screening and prevention, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD - Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), GERD/heartburn, Barrett's Esophagus, and minimally invasive techniques to treat Gastrointestinal cancers.I was the first GI doctor to perform EUS at Greenwich Hospital and Stamford Hospital. Using this technology, many of my patients have received timely and accurate diagnosis of complex disorders on the GI tract that may have otherwise required surgery or more invasive tests to detect. I am the only physician performing EUS at Greenwich and Stamford Hospitals. I have used this technology to accurately diagnose and evaluate cancers of the pancreas, esophagus, stomach and rectum. I also use it to evaluate benign conditions such as Pancreatic cysts and gallstones.I have had excellent success using radiofrequency ablation to eradicate Barrett's Esophagus, which is a precursor to Esophageal Cancer. Barrett's is often found in patients with chronic heartburn/acid reflux. I am able to prevent cancer with this technique and my patients are able to avoid major surgery.I volunteer as the medical advisor to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Westchester/Fairfield Chapter. My practice comprises six Gastroenterologists, we offer all GI endoscopic procedures and can manage all digestive diseases.
