As Government Information Librarian, I support the mission of the University of Kansas Libraries by working collaboratively with faculty, researchers and other librarians to promote access to reliable information, especially government information from a variety of sources including the OECD, national governments, tribal and local governments. In this role, I support the reference desk by answering a wide variety of questions, but especially those related to law, political science, and public administration. I also guest lecture on a variety of research topics including FAA regulation of unmanned aerial vehicles, public administration research, economics research, social welfare research, education research, and psychology research.

In this role, I advocate for graduate students and professional students within the University of Kansas libraries. I also support graduate students directly to improve access to research resources and improve their research and writing skills through research consultations and guest lectures.In this role, I also support open access programs promoting the creation of free and low-cost educational materials through grants and educational outreach. I also advise on topics including copyright law, fair use, and creative commons licensing.This also afforded me an opportunity to work with faculty, librarians and students on best practices for adopting artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education.

Coordinating the Kansas District for the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) governed by Title 44, Chapter 19 of the US Code.In this role, I provide consultations on research strategies and best practices for FDLP collection development in the District of Kansas including SuDoc classification, FDLP eXchange for needs & offers, FDLP data manager (FDM) and the Depository Selection Information Management System (DSIMS).This role provides me an opportunity to submit comments responsive to agency rulemaking, advise library leadership, and consult with FDLP selective libraries throughout the State of Kansas.

I taught classes in collaboration with KU's Sexual Assault Prevention and Education Center. Interpersonal communication is key to healthy relationships. Alcohol intoxication and its legal implications were also covered during this course.

Maintain the MALL website and work with the chair of the Web Committee, the Executive Board and the committee chairs. In 2013, I migrated the MALL website to a new platform hosted by Wild Apricot.

As President, I was in charge of administration generally. I worked with the Board and committee chairs to develop educational programming including the Legal Research Institute and supporting the Volunteer Lawyer's Network.The Minnesota Association of Law Libraries (MALL) is a local chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. MALL is 501(c)(6) that for the last sixty (60) years has supported legal education and best practices in legal research in the State of Minnesota.

MALL is the Minnesota Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. The Member-at-Large is a member of MALL's executive board and works on special projects assigned by the board. Some of these projects have included serving as the interim chair of the new social committee as well as implementing an online payment solution for MALL.

I am responsible for coordinating and leading bicycle-borne safety patrols. Trailwatch is a community watch program sponsored by the Midtown Greenway Coalition. Trailwatch patrols the Midtown Greenway and the Hiawatha LRT Trail in Minneapolis. Trailwatch observes and reports suspicious activity to law enforcement, aids pedestrians and riders in distress and sweeps up broken glass along the trail.

Ramsey County's Volunteers in Public Service program provides training and organization to volunteers who wish to serve their community. I am cross-trained through the federal Community Emergency Response Team program but we also have monthly trainings to improve our skill set. I volunteered during the Republican National Convention in the summer of 2008 and worked on park patrol in the summer of 2011.

In this temporary position, I primarily worked on research projects for faculty members but also answered research questions from students.

After the merger of William Mitchell College of Law and Hamline Law School, I began working primarily as a legal research instructor. In this new role, I developed a new curriculum for the first year legal research and writing program. I delivered a series of research lectures in the Fall and Spring and developed several new formative and summative assessments.

In this position I taught legal research skills and policy-writing. I taught courses exploring the application of systems analysis and media theory to research methods, as well as using law-and-literature approaches.I supported faculty teaching. giving guest lectures on research topics including lectures in Administrative Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, Public Health Law and Veteran's Law. In the Spring of 2015, I was an adjunct instructor in a Criminal Law course.

As a reference librarian, I assisted faculty with their research needs and supported their scholarship through cite-checking and editing. I taught Advanced Legal Research and Internet Legal Research and developed a Disaster Law course that was approved by the faculty as a standing addition to the College's course catalog.In collaboration with Mitchell's administrative law faculty, I lectured on administrative legal research and assigned students research exercises to complete. I gave research presentations to the Legal Research and Writing students as well as to seminar classes on Comparative International Property Law, Domestic Violence Law, and Elder Law. I also taught Continuing Legal Education courses and led Perspectives on the Legal Profession sessions.I led sessions for the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries' Legal Research Institute on Information Ethics and Disaster Law.I also provided guidance and tutoring to students, staff, and librarians on social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and Web 2.0 technologies like blogs, wikis, RSS feeds, and augmented reality.In addition, I provided Bluebook training and consultation to the Journal of Law and Practice and to students by appointment.In 2009 & 2010, I started and supervised Mitchell's Library Research Assistant pool.

In my fifth year with the Nature Valley Bicycle Festival, I was promoted to a Field Commander. I reprised this role in my sixth year with the race. As a Field Commander I was responsible for the safety and construction of designated areas of the race stages in Saint Paul and in Uptown Minneapolis. During the road races I assist the Director of the Professional Women's Race.

In this capacity I maintained the association membership list and listserv, collected membership fees, and gave presentations about MALL to interested groups.

I provided legal reference service in the evening and supervised two other employees and was responsible for closing the law library during the week.

Responsible for handling circulation duties, controlling library access, supervising guard and community service officer, as well as providing general legal reference.

I maintained the student website and developed programming, in collaboration with the other offices, that focused on ensuring graduates of the program possessed the necessary skills to land a job in a competitive job market. In June of 2005, SLA awarded the student chapter a certificate of merit for Innovative Programming and we were the runner's up for the certificate of merit in Outstanding Leadership.

In this role I worked on the creation of an archival space within the law library as well as creating electronic copies of treaty documents.

I assisted with the drafting of a child protection code for tribal nations with civil and criminal provisions. I also assisted with the development of an Instructor's Guide for a textbook on Tribal law.

Responsible for administrative support of the Structured Finance Division. Duties included handling international travel reservations and reimbursements, drafting routine correspondence, responding to initial financing inquiries, and all other administrative tasks. During my two (2) years with Ex-Im Bank, I received three (3) awards.

I provided reference service in person and over the phone in a community of approximately 80,000 people.

I provided reference service on weekends and evenings.

I served sandwiches to those who hungered.
