I support my Accounts by leveraging 11-years of hands on experience as a mechanical engineer and project manager, to assist them in facing today’s manufacturing opportunities. At UMD Automated Systems, we pride ourself in being Partners, not just suppliers, to the businesses we support. As a believer in life long learning and continuous improvement, I also implement internal business systems to reduce non-value added work to promote lean, efficient operations, and to deliver projects and products on time, and on schedule. My role gives me the opportunity to not only oversee multiple projects across different enterprises and industries, but also to work with different internal departments across the entire sales cycle, applications, engineering, production, and accounting. I find that my ability to adapt to ever changing industry conditions within manufacturing allows me to execute my lifelong goals of continuous improvement and always being better than yesterday. As I grow professionally and personally, I plan to continuously cultivate my breadth of knowledge by staying curious and agile, especially as I work through the coursework to obtain my MBA with the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
