Corus owns Nelvana, a 40+ year old animation creator and global distributor.I was brought on to utilize my content-centric approach with digitization, iTunes and Netflix. Supporting 23 Television Networks with a $3 million operating budget, I collaborated with key executives in programming and business affairs to negotiate agreements of content purchased and/or licensed to broadcasters.During this time, I revolutionized the non-linear component of Corus, implementing the most efficient way to encode, transcode and deliver over 20,000 assets for VoD, Broadband, IPTV and iTunes per month.Vendor Relationships‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾♦ Streamlined the implementation of the digital asset management system in partnership with a system integrator and large set of vendorsContent Delivery‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾♦ Delivered 13,000+ hours of content per month, overseeing metadata and transcoding of content to support non-linear initiatives with over 20 BDU’s

Nelvana (Nasdaq: NELV) is one of the world's leading international producers and distributors of children's animated content, producing a stable of award-winning and globally renowned and also distributing four Nickelodeon shows internationally.Administering a $1 million annual operating budget, I led the digital streamlining of the library as we moved from delivery of content globally via courier to digitally, over 3,500 half hours of children’s animated programming, and their non-English language versions.Results include:‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾♦ Negotiated a global deal for the coordination of adapting Nelvana animated series to over 40 languages globally♦ Reduced the outsourced cost from +$3 Million annually to $250K in two years
