As the lead Network and Security engineer within the Auckland based projects team, my role covers all aspects of the project life-cycle, from design and documenting the initial Scope of Work right through to implementation and support.This role is part of a team that provides Best of Breed solutions for Telco / ISP, Enterprises, Schools and SMB's using technologies such as Cisco, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto Networks, IronPort, BlueCoat, Fortinet, Brocade and HP Networking.

Employed as a Technical Consultant for this national Internet Service Provider. Vox Telecom is now one of the leading Internet and Telecommunications Companies in South Africa. The group consists of the following companies: DataPro, Vox, Orion Telecom, @lantic Internet, BizCall. The majority of my career at Vox Telecom was as part of the Implementations Division in DataPro Corporate Internet Services.Responsible For the Design and Implementation of Business Connectivity Solutions from Start to Finish. This Included:-Internet Connectivity Solutions - Diginet (Leased Line), Broadband (ADSL)-New Router Implementations (Cisco)-New Security / Firewall Implementations (Juniper/Netscreen)-WAN and VPN Implementations-Linux Mail Server, Firewall and Proxy ImplementationsI spent almost 11 years working with a great team with constant ambitions of growing the company into something special and under the leadership of our visionary CEO was privileged to be part a Company that grew from a fledgling ISP into one of South Africa's largest Telco's.
