In corporate life my 28 years in IT at IBM's Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY included assignments as an end user PC educator, author of just in time learning content, developer of technology enabled help and learning systems and member of task forces on internal collaboration tools and strategy. In my last assignment I served as the Process and Program Manager for my department and led our metrics initiatives. I have taught end user computing topics to IBM employees, incarcerated individuals in Sing Sing, and seniors. In 2014 I graduated from the Leadership Westchester program offered by Volunteer New York. My mission, developed over the course of participating in this introspective leadership program, is to "leverage innovative business models, processes and technologies to continuously improve medical and higher education services to under-served communities." I was recently honored by Volunteer New York as the 2023 Leadership Westchester Alumnus of the Year.Since 2011 I have served on the board of Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison and specifically on a number of student and alumni related committees.
