About Neba Sere

I am a Spatial Practitioner and Director of Black Females in Architecture (BFA), where I advocate for greater diversity and inclusion in the architectural profession. BFA recently contributed the film 'A Voice for the 450 Plus' to the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale.At The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, I am an Associate Professor, focusing on Decolonisation and Decarbonisation. I also co-lead the decosm collective, which recently partnered with Arup to produce the report 'Racial Equity and the City', exploring the lived experiences of People of Colour in London.My previous roles include Senior Project Officer with the Greater London Authority's Regeneration Team and leading youth design projects at Build Up Foundation, where I now support as a Trustee.Through speaking engagements on diversity and inclusion, I am committed to promoting a more equitable architecture profession and shaping inclusive urban environments.
