Project: EU-Liberia Agriculture Programme – Prosperous Agriculture Roadmap to Nutrition & Entrepreneurship, Reinforcing Sustainability (EULAP – PARTNERS) Main responsibilities:- Providing technical assistance to the project team in improving economic activity and social life in local communities in socially inclusive and sustainable way- Field implementation of the Ideation phase, followed by Acceleration phase with the aim of establishing a number of new start-ups and social enterprises - Introduction of follow-up assistance to beneficiaries and monitoring system on key performance indicators towards sustainability of the outcome

Project: Establishment of Business Development Center and Incubator for start-up entrepreneurs in Kabul, Afghanistan, project funded by KFW Main responsibilities:- Development of feasibility study and financial plan for establishment of Business Start-up Center with Incubators for young start-ups in Kabul- The study is based on social impact and community revitalization through supporting entrepreneurship and self-employment- The particular objective of the study is to identify ways of supporting social entrepreneurship and women participation on the labour market.

- Overall coordination of the project "From Education to Employment (E2E)", funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation, aiming to increasing youth employability in Serbia through informal TWET and work-based learning - Assistance to private sector in obtaining adequate workforce and increasing their role in creation of vocational training programmes - Introducing Public-Private Partnership in handling youth unemployment problem

Overall management and coordination on national level of 5 years project funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, oriented to poverty alleviation and creating employment opportunities. Main activities: • Capacity building of local institutions by strengthening relevant local partners specialized in entrepreneurship promotion, private sector development and job creation. Strengthening partner institutions and entrepreneurship centers’ business development services through the enhancement of their infrastructure, staff training and improving their capacities to effectively advocate and lobby for SME and entrepreneurship development. Assessment of partners’ training needs, development of training programmes, execution of training courses.• Direct poverty alleviation through job creation by facilitating the start and growth of small enterprises, with specific attention to youth and marginalized groups through development of existing business development organizations or establishment of new business start-up and development centers, incubators and cooperatives. Delivery of training programmes on business management skills and technical assistance to the final beneficiaries.• Policy making and advocacy by identifying and removing business barriers and advocate enabling environment for private sector development targeting local and national policy makers, government institutions, business intermediaries, universities and other educational institutions, business development service related research institutes, financial institutions. Establishment of network of Business Start-up Centers with Incubators in the Balkan post-conflict countries was 4 years project funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by Dutch NGO SPARK.My responsibility was to, as Director of BSC Kragujevac/Serbia, coordinate establishment of the Center and incubator and manage its overall activities and cooperation with local partners. The Business Start-Up Centre's activities are: • Support to young entrepreneurs to start and improve their own businesses providing trainings on business management skills (training needs assessment, development of training modules, realization of trainings), motivation workshops to encourage entrepreneurship• Organization of annual business plan competition and awarding most potential businesses with micro loans, consulting services and business space in the Incubator• Establishment of €500K Guarantee Fund to support micro credit scheme for young start-ups and existing businesses with potential for growth• Technical and financial support to local SMEs for introduction of Quality management systems into operations (ISO, HACCP, CE…)• Cooperation with the University on curriculum development toward introduction of entrepreneurial spirit into University’s teaching programmes• Capacity building of local partners – Municipality of Kragujevac, Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Agency for Economic development and two local business associations • Development of annual study on barriers and obstacles to private sector development in the community and lobbying at the policy makers for more friendly environment for business development

The Municipal Support Programme North East Serbia (MSPNE) was an EU initiative managed by the European Commission to provide technical assistance to economic development in North-east Serbia-Banat Region. My assignment was to support the Regional Development Agency by carrying out feasibility studies for the project proposals contained into the Regional Development Strategy.
