During my time at The Jewish Star, I have learned a lot of Journalistic skills. From formatting and editing materials for the print edition of the newspaper to updating website content. I work under deadlines with ease, while also being knowledgeable in the day to day operations of what it means to be a part of a publishing company. I can create a strong social media presence as I have experience in creating, analyzing, and optimizing an organization’s social media platforms. I am highly organized and creatively skilled with experience using Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google platforms. In addition, I’m proficient in social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I have in-depth experience with non-profit organizations. I assisted the organizations with social media branding and engagement. Being an active and influential member of the organizations has expanded my professional skills.
