I am currently managing the balancing act of being a student while working at a mental health clinic. With a focus on food and nutrition, my ultimate goal is to become a Registered Dietitian. I am truly passionate about making healthy eating enjoyable and maintaining a well-rounded approach to nutrition.In my view, a nutritious diet should include a diverse range of flavors, textures, and colors, all while being delicious. I firmly believe that nutrition is about finding the perfect balance that not only nourishes our bodies but also brings us joy and a sense of well-being.The past four years working at a mental health clinic (in an administrative role), has had a big impact on who I am today, and where I’d like to be professionally. It has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of individuals navigating through difficulties and has taught me the importance of empathy and compassion. I've gained administrative skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication, which will benefit me in guiding future clients with care.As I continue my educational journey and pursue my dream of becoming a Registered Dietitian, I am excited to merge my passion for food and nutrition with my understanding of mental health. Together, these areas of expertise will enable me to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
