Having recently retired from Cate School working as an outdoor educator and advisor to teens, I have made the transition back to guiding full time for folks of all ages in all sorts of venues. The importance of sleep for teens in particular has been a big topic in boarding schools these days Circadian rhythm therapy is a natural way to help people get the needed rest they need and wilderness settings greatly help facilitate that!My next trip will be in January guiding youth into the Santa Barbara wilderness with local Gabrielle Kelly.Contact me this winter in Santa Barbara starting in early December for surfing lessons, Jeep tours, or wilderness trips on horseback or with backpacks. February and March is Island time in the Pacific! Join us on an epic adventure along the Na Pali coast on the garden island of Kauai! Fish, bike, hike, and surf with locals. Learn how to climb a coconut tree and use a machete. April and May is southwest desert time! Join us on an adventure in Utah on the Green River, or backpacking into Grand Gulch. When summer comes in June we are game for adventures in the Northwest! All the way to the end of October and even into November, we will be white water rafting, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, steelhead fishing with a fly rod, and casting for salmon from the rocks near the sea.
