I am the Managing Director at Mzuri Solutions Limited. Mzuri is a startup business solutions provider for small businesses. Our goal is to promote the culture of structured record keeping among SMEs and simplify their day to day operations using our digital shared services.Before starting Mzuri, I was the Group Head, Digital Banking Business Development in Access Bank where I lead an innovation team that is championing the advancement of digital banking in Nigeria. While at the Bank, I led a number of internal startups, some of which include Agency Banking and Mobile Money services. I also served as project lead for the 21st Century Project of Access Bank - a project that redefined and repositioned Corporate and Retail Banking service delivery in Access Bank. Before joining Access Bank, I was a Principal Solutions Advisor at SystemSpecs – and played a lead role in the original development of Remita.My career experience spans the areas of Business Development, Project Management, IT Operations, and Facilities Management. These experiences were garnered in the cause of my career in Banking and IT consulting. I have been privileged to contribute to the growth of the Digital and Financial Inclusion ecosystem in Nigeria through my previous role as a former Chairman of the Association of Licensed Mobile Payment Operators (ALMPO) and member of the National Financial Inclusion Technical Committee. I am a Certified International Cards and Payments Professional and qualified as a Project Management Professional in 2006. I am motivated by opportunities to innovate and nurture start-ups. I am also committed to the goal of breaking down Financial Inclusion barriers.
