Had a chance to work in a team of 4 in the development and improvement of hemp strain and fiber to get the best commercial benefits. The main task was to focus and learn about the selection process starting from the laboratory experiments by cloning aseptic hemp plant, checking its properties and improving them to reach the best results in the field. Then moving to the field studies: focusing on feminine hemp plants, eliminating male hemp plants which contain little THC and can even influence the production of THC of feminine plants. • Breeding of the first Lithuanian variety of fibrous hemp "AUSTA SK" and improving its properties.• Work on tasks such as research and creation of an organic desiccant to be tested in the fields, alkalizing processes. Also measuring fiber, stem output. Learning about seed oiliness, researching ways to reach bigger commercial benefits of seed output, working on production planning.
