ConsultantConcern Worldwide Aug 2020 - Sep 2020Dhaka, BangladeshIn 2019 October, I was recruited to draft and finalize a grants proposal for a Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) fund to introduce livelihood programs in the remote coastal regions of Bangladesh. During this assignment I conducted a series of meetings with the coastal region experts of Concern Worldwide to understand the donor requirements and potential implementable livelihood activities; developed questionnaires for KIIs & FGDs to understand need; supervised the data collection; held meetings with finance departments to put together a robust budget; based on data analyses created workplan, logframe, outputs and outcomes section and an evaluation and monitoring plan. This was a very demanding assignment since I had to work with a team I wasn’t acquainted with, an organization. I was able to quickly turn all of that around and learn about the organization, adapt to the team’s rhythm, and deliver the task in hand, on time. -
