As Director of Marketing for the Wheels division of Mattel Toys, I was responsible for all direct-to-consumer marketing of Matchbox and Hot Wheels vehicles in the U.S., Canada and 14 other countries including England, Australia, Germany and France.While at Mattel I also was one of the co-creators of the Fisher-Price catalog and online presence. I also had very significant involvement in Barbie.com and in the development of the logistics and customer support operations for all of Mattel's direct-to-consumer and e-commerce initiatives.

At the time, The Bradford Exchange was the largest collectible company in the work with revenues in excess of $1B. I was brought in to run the marketing for their new business area, which consisted of specialty product lines for the Hummel, McDonald's and Norman Rockwell licensed brands. I was in charge of all direct-to-consumer marketing, which included catalog, direct mail, infomercials and print, as well as the relationship with the licensors.

At Lenox Collections, the $150 million division of Lenox China, I was the brand manager of the plate and jewelry division which represented $50 million in revenue and were two of the most important divisions in terms of growth and profitability. In this role I was responsible for all product development and marketing for these brands and oversaw the successful launch of over 100 new products a year.Prior to my brand management role I held positions as a media buyer, analyst and a database manager in charge of complex data selects from Lenox's proprietary consumer database.
