 Responsible for maintaining compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities (DCEO) Community Services Block Grant Program, Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) and the Housing Urban Development (HUD) homeless programs, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP). Develop and maintain grant funded budgets to ensure spending is accurate and on target with grant dates. Directly accountable for completing funding grant applications within funder guidelines. Coordinate accounting support with the Fiscal Department; payroll, bills, balancing program grants. Directly supervise and support all Community Services Block Grant Program staff; hiring, training, performance appraisals, performance improvement plans. Develop innovative work programs to help people become self-sufficient. Responsible for monitoring all aspects of work programs to ensure clients meet the eligibility requirements and that the budget(s) and benchmarks are being met. Provide program required quarterly, annual and other reports. Promote work programs to organizations, social media, and website by creating PowerPoints, and designing brochures. Works cooperatively with President/CEO, agency staff, clients, and the Board to ensure that the organization is in compliance with the CSBG Organizational Standards. Responsible for developing and fostering relationships with public, private, and faith-based partners that support program mission and goals. Develop Memorandums of Understanding with partners. Actively participates in the agency strategic planning process and plan implementation. Directly responsible for facilitating/ensuring completion of the affirmative action report. Provide safety training at monthly Outreach Meetings and facilitate quarterly Safety Meetings for the agency.
