The company began by providing business strategy, buy side deal sourcing, and M&A advisory services and later moved into managing investments directly. Notable transactions included the acquisition of McKesson Chemical Company by Pakhoed NV, the acquisition of Amfac Plumbing, HVAC, and PVF businesses by Oxoco, Inc. and the acquisition and founding of Burke Concrete Accessories in partnership with management. Industries included industrial chemicals, plumbing, electrical, industrial pipe, valves and fittings, art materials, remote site logistics, and specialty building materials. The company also served as an incubator for BuildSite LLC.
