In a fast-paced role with a wide range of responsibilities, my duties could sometimes change on a daily basis. My most consistant jobs included: managing the official club website - www.bathcityfc.com, the official facebook page, and official twitter account (all of them created by me). I also organised special promotions for matches, managed club PR and marketing, and managed the club lottery, the Bath City Lotto.Every Wednesday for two years, including weeks when I was theoretically on holiday, and the week my youngest son was born, I published an award-winning html newsletter for the club. It grew from 0 to 2,400 subscribers, and was selected by the provider Constant Contact as an 'All-Star' award winner. The newsletter was also featured on the Constant Contact website as a success story.During my time at Bath City, the club featured in the national (and international) press for five major off-the-pitch stories. These were all either originated or managed by me. Media coverage included: the Sun, the Daily Mail, the Independent, the Times, the Guardian, the Daily Express, FourFourTwo, Sky Sports News, talkSPORT, BBC 5 Live, BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Somerset, BBC Radio Bristol, BBC Points West and ITV Westcountry. My tweets from the official Bath City Twitter account have also been quoted extensively in the Daily Mail in an incident known as 'Pantsgate.'In the 2012 Shorty Awards Bath City came in 11th place in the '#sportsteams' category for best online short content. In a category that included all sports teams, only two football (soccer) clubs received more votes: Sheffield Wednesday and Liverpool. Bath City received 25 more votes than the fourth best placing football club: Barcelona. Bath Rugby finished in 23rd place.
