Neebin Studios is my small creative business encompassing graphic design, writing, editing, copyediting, photography, art, and consulting. Clients have included the Santa Fean, SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market, the Institute of American Indian Arts, the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, First Americans Museum, First American Art Magazine, Native Foodways Magazine (Tohono O’odham Community Action), and Santa Fe New Mexican, among others.

Freelance arts writing which has included artist features, reviews, and more. For several years, I wrote a column, Exploring Native Design.

As a Writer in the Communications department at the Institute of American Indian Arts, my work included writing, editing, and copy editing stories, press releases, and other content for the newsletter, website, ads, and other outlets. I wrote Alumni Spotlights on Rose Marie Cutropia, Joelle Estelle Mendoza, Tazbah Gaussoin, Erik Sanchez, Russell Frye, Chad “Little Coyote” Yellowjohn, Sydney Isaacs, Alberta Nells, and Wayne Nez Gaussoin. My other duties included processing submissions to the IAIA Community Calendar, submitting to event calendars, updating the website, occasional design work, and updating and reformatting documents, including the IAIA Style Guide, Catalog, HR Handbook, Student Handbook, Family Housing Handbook, Faculty Handbook, and Emergency Handbook.

Three-month artist residency in which I created Anishinaabe graphics for my Anishinaabe community.

I was selected as one of five fellows in the Peabody Essex Museum's prestigious Native American Fellowship program for the summer of 2019. During my time at PEM, I worked with the Creative Services Department, where I worked on design projects, took photographs, helped edit the September issue of Connections (PEM's member magazine), wrote an article on artist Wes Sam-Bruce, attended presentations and workshops, and received professional development training.

I worked as a contract facilitator for Tewa Women United's A’gin Healthy Sexuality and Body Sovereignty Program for the summer program with youth at Nambé Pueblo.

Position encompassed a variety of duties such as coordinating projects with other staff and volunteers; designing ads, promotional materials, and signage; coordinating with print vendors; photographing events, artists, and artwork; writing copy for ads and other promotional materials; corresponding with the press; managing the email list and sending emails to subscribers; maintaining and updating the museum’s website and online store; posting to social media; organizing events; and assisting with exhibitions and miscellaneous technical issues.

Interned for the premier Native American arts market in the world. Designed ads, flyers, posters and brochures; maintained the SWAIA website; social media; photography. Created original vector artwork and patterns for use in designs. Ads/inserts appeared online, in Native Peoples Magazine, Indian Country Today, Pastiempo, the Santa Fe Reporter, and the New Mexican.

Created flyers, posters, and other printed and digital media to promote events. Created designs for the annual Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration, one of the BCC’s largest events of the year. Maintained the Center and provided assistance to those utilizing the Center.

Created flyers, posters, and other printed and digital media to promote events. Designed original print and digital material for the Longhouse’s annual Salmon Bake, a keystone event which attracts hundreds of people both on and off campus every year. Maintained the Longhouse and provided assistance to those utilizing the Longhouse. Made gifts for honored individuals.
