I had a very rewarding and growing experience as an Intern at Advanced Optronics for 10 weeks. As an intern, I achieved the following: Developed a real-time 3D rendering of surgeries using Three.js in Jupyter Notebook, visualizing internal body structures and surgical tools to scale and building an interactive 360-degree camera for the user; Render used for demonstration to investors and surgeons, and showcased on company website  Programmed backend files in python to compute and return all required logic, values and data for the simulations; Reduced simulation lag to 0 and increased frame per second to less than 25 FPS, improving smoothness Evaluated different active machine learning models in a simulated surgery setting; Selected deep reinforcement learning models and neural networks to optimize successful insertion trajectory and angles for surgeons  Created the data pipeline using python and JSON to share data and tool schematics more efficiently and consistently across the software team, improving team communication and eliminating mismatching data and outputs

 Built a Machine Learning Model in R to return sleep quality scores from a user’s biodata with 94% accuracy; Aided in predicting if patients were experiencing successful rehab by accurately forecasting their sleep and preemptively improve their treatment Cleaned, organized and analyzed a large dataset with MATLAB providing the team with more compatible data for training and identified the key features that we would use to train random forest models through visualization  Integrated the sleep quality model as a key parameter in a larger team model which was used to predict the dropouts of 100+ rehab patients in Pennsylvania

Worked on developing a mobile application for a local entrepreneur. Used Flutter/Dart, which I learnt on the job and had to pick up quickly and effectively, to develop the front-end. Developed the front-end of the application using Flutter(Dart), using widgets to create a valuable UI. Designed the layout of all the user pages with margin, color and animation widgets. Incorporated multiple pages to complete the front-end with widgets for buttons, typing indicators, and user inputs also explored back-end components with Google Firebase
