Corporate and International Tax

-Preparation of credit proposal involving detailed analysis of financial statements, management risks, Industry Risks, economic conditions and presenting it to risk management team and sanction committee for approval.-Supported Relationship Managers in managing ongoing relationship with Promoter Offices, CFOs and other key decision makers.-Understanding clients’ businesses and its supply chain management to provide appropriate working capital solutions across fund/non-fund-based banking products & help reduce clients’ cost of funds.-Prepared minutes and documenting agreed terms with management under call for structuring facility agreement.-Monitored the portfolio, conducted quarterly/periodic compliance reviews (QCR/PCR) of existing clientele and reported red flags to various internal teams (Credit, Internal rating, Legal) to understand any stress identifiers triggered.-To keep updated business team members with earnings call transcripts, investors’ presentation, statutory communications at NSE/BSE platform of existing/potential clientele.-Supported cross-sectional teams in periodic regulatory compliances (documenting disbursement request letters (DRLs), reporting unhedged foreign currency exposures (UFCE) for provisioning o/s fund-based limits of clients).

-Supported Tax Managers and Financial Controllers in Direct-tax compliances for listed companies, partnership firms and HNIs handling tasks such as Income-tax returns, Tax-audits, TDS/WHT returns, Lower TDS/WHT applications, MAT and AMT computation etc.-Conducted Due Diligence (Buyer-side) and generated red flags in the areas of financial reporting, direct tax and Indirect tax areas for the companies operating in power generation businesses (renewables/conventional).-Handled Transfer pricing assessment and scrutiny assessment/ reassessment (Drafted responses for submission to Faceless Tax Authorities for ongoing litigations and to mitigate potential tax liabilities).-Engaged in tax advisory for various issues on International and domestic taxation provisions.-Preparation of MIS Report in relation to direct tax such as monthly, quarterly and yearly quantification of contingent liability of tax and current & deferred tax provision.

-Held the responsibility for planning, organising and executing 2 days’ National CA Students’ Conference, 2021 – ‘Navadhara – Redefining Boundaries’ which was attended by >650 CA students in the presence of Shri Suresh Prabhu as chief guest.-Received appreciation from then president & vice-president of ICAI for activities conducted by the association for CA students.-Received the Best CA Students’ Association award at the national as well as regional level.-Charged with overall mission in engaging 35000+ Ahmedabad CA Students towards the activities performed by WICASA Ahmedabad.-Conducted a PAN-India Revision Series-"Pinnacle: 3 Days Intensive Refresher Course" in collaboration with 20+ ICAI-CASA branches with nationally renowned faculties with over 1000+ registration at the minimal cost of INR 20 per subject.
