Delivered a robust training review course for students enrolled in the Medical Counsel of Canada Evaluating Exam (MCCEE) and Medical Counsel of Canada Qualifying Exam Part One (MCCQE1).Created visual aids and multiple choice questions to facilitate studying strategies for standardized exams.Trained students to develop clinical application skills, obtain a complete medical history relevant to the patient's chief complaint and perform pertinent physical exams on patients.

Created and delivered the curriculum for the "Doctors In Training" camp, a camp geared for children between ages of 10-15.Taught students about the circulatory system and respiratory system using visual aids, poster diagrams, and anatomical models.Explained the importance of medical illness in the community and the implications of disease transmission by involving students to participate in interactive games such as "Psychiatrist" and "Disease-Breakout" respectively.

Ensured proper planning and delivery of lecture material based on approved curriculum for courses in Biology and Medical Terminology. Managed quality assessment of course material based on a variety of testing tools such as quizzes, examinations, oral presentations, and literature review.Created a diverse learning classroom experience using white board and multi-media presentations with video and art material.

Delivered private tutoring in a student centered environment with emphasis on new ways of thinking and tackling problems.Prepared “crash course” style material for groups of students reviewing major concepts and fundamentals in Kinesiology.

Prepared and instructed course material in Medical Microbiology and Behavioural Sciences to medical students with a focus on the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Step 1 centered approach learning.Implemented and managed quality assessment of course material based on different testing methods. Contributed actively to the process of curriculum review and accreditation policy at the university.

- Worked in the in-patient unit with an interdisciplinary team, to support 8-10 patients suffering from substance abuse.- Completed full psychiatric assessments, focusing on obtaining a detailed substance abuse history and monitored physical signs of drug intoxication and or withdrawal.- Exposed to patients with intoxication and withdrawal symptoms, relating to alcohol, heroin and cocaine.- Gained experience using Benzodiazepines, relating to administration, half-life, and metabolizing (properties).- Utilized research skills to gain knowledge of Methadone use, effects, and interactions, and the application for heroin addiction treatment. - Learned appropriate steps regarding cocaine intoxication, including monitoring vitals, consulting cardiologist, and assisted patients with referrals services.- Advocated for patient needs and followed up on daily requirements for patients in day treatment care programs and early intervention programs.
