I had the privilege of interning at the Complex Fluids and Polymer Engineering Group, Polymer Science and Engineering Division, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. During my internship from April 4 to June 30, 2018, under the guidance of Dr. Suresh Bhat, I undertook a dynamic M.Sc project titled "Probing the structure and dynamics in entropic and jammed states of soft particle suspensions."Throughout this enriching experience, I specialized in synthesizing Poly (N-Isopropylacrylamide) microgel particles and employed cutting-edge instruments such as Particle Size Analyzer, 3D Dynamic light scattering rheology, and confocal microscopy for comprehensive particle characterization. I delved into exploring the structure and dynamics in the entropic and jammed states of these soft particle suspensions, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art facilities in the laboratory.
