  • Shoprunner
    Senior Product Manager, Martech
    Shoprunner May 2020 - Dec 2020
    Chicago, Illinois, Us
In 2020, our organization was impacted by cascading effects of COVID-19. Our partners saw sharp declines in customer shopping within high-end luxury goods. Consequently, marketing funding became scarce for a lot of our partners and led to even fewer gross sales. Partners' sales directly impacted our top-line revenue and as a result, I was invested in improving our marketing tactics through the power of data. I formed the Marketing Technology team at ShopRunner and joined the Consumer Experience vertical. MarTech led the charge on data-driven marketing and built a personalization engine that could effectively target ShopRunner members with the right content at the right time. We employed tactics, that combined data science models with audience selection algorithms to optimize content for our members. We quickly made a splash with email marketing and increased our attributable GMS by 34%.
  • Shoprunner
    Senior Product Manager, Data Platform
    Shoprunner Jun 2019 - Apr 2020
    Chicago, Illinois, Us
In 2019, I started my journey at ShopRunner with managing the data platform. I was tasked with creating a monetization strategy to leverage our behavioral, demographics, and 3rd party customer data - namely, we needed to drive insights and develop products that enabled our partners to better interact and target their customers. We developed and leveraged an unified profile to stitch customers' interactions across devices and browsers. The partners would be able to access the latest data on their customers via an API. This empowered our partners to more effectively target their customer base and double down on marketing tactics for their highest intent shoppers. The data platform product suite continued to mature and grow with the help of our data science team. However, the free rein on distributing and disseminating data would quickly see its horizon in the form of CCPA. The California Consumer Privacy Act, required businesses to disclose their data practices and provide transparency to customers. As the owner of the ShopRunner data platform, I led the charge with our legal team and outside counsel to uncover the letter of law and how it applies to our company. Strategically, I translated the new privacy policy into requirements for surfacing and deleting data for our customers. This was a cross-organizational effort that spanned multiple phases to identify customer data and ultimately remove it from our data stores. We extended the Data Subject Access Request to all customers via ShopRunner.com.

Projekt202 (formerly Ora Interactive) is an acclaimed user experience and digital product studio with a combined portfolio of over 300 native mobile apps, web apps, and Internet of Things products. We’ve worked with organizations, both large and small, capitalizing on new opportunities made possible by emerging technology. In 2018, we were presented with the opportunity to work on an app that would make a difference and enrich the lives of college students. Most college students are moving away from home and living on their own for the first time. The new environment brings new challenges, and unfortunately many students face issues of anxiety, stress, and even depression. Mental health wellness has been a growing industry, but there is still a negative stigma around receiving help. I was challenged to build an app that not only treats mental health head-on, but traverses the stigma and allows students to access thousands of professionals without leaving their home. I started working with the client day one, conducting market research to fashion the application colors, branding, and product name. Meta was born, it was going to be to built for Android, iOS, and Web. During the 1.8 million dollar and 14-month journey, I served as the senior product manager and then promoted to principal. Defining the product roadmap, establishing the robust feature set, and cultivating the client vision. I led a team of 17 developers to build a telehealth platform that empowers students to search for providers, schedule appointments and receive counseling at the convenience of their phone. The product features are built on an HIPAA compliant platform with various third-party integrations to capture payment, support chatting, execute audio/video calling, verify insurance, send SMS and push notifications. In the first three months, we have not only pushed the apps nationwide, but are ready to serve over 7300 educational institutions and counting!
  • Rise Interactive
    Product Manager
    Rise Interactive Mar 2017 - Jan 2018
    Chicago, Il, Us
Rise Interactive is a digital marketing agency and Interactive Investment Management (IIM) firm which specializes in digital media and analytics for Fortune 1000 companies. Personalization:We offer a differentiated approach to Personalization. Our 1:1 machine learning platform determines the right audience, content, and time to serve campaigns, in multiple channels, based on an individual customer’s propensity to purchase or convert. 2017 - The most difficult challenges in display advertising is to acquire new customers or re-engage previous ones, using top-funnel techniques. I helped bridge the gap using machine learning – we were not only able to activate our best leads, but also unveiled the optimal combination of ads to recommend. Our ads recommendations were generated using Multi-Arm Bandit (MAB), which helped us determine the ideal model to run based on available data. We researched and engineered our recommenders to be rigorously trained and evaluated using methods like MCC, AUC and A/B testing. We were able to quickly shift the paradigm of the display advertising, and increasing conversions by 300%!Media Management:Marketing at scale is often an issue at small to medium size marketing firms. It sometimes even prevents them from capturing larger clients because they simply cannot afford to staff the endeavor. At Rise, we accepted the challenge and decided to move outside our comfort zone. I took the opportunity to lead a new team and product line, whose sole focus would be to scale and automate processes.2017 - I created a process for us to systematically handle over 20 million search terms in our ad engines. We not only build a framework that could upload the keywords but also actively manage them. After upload, we were able to analyze our keyword activity and update our campaigns and ads accordingly. Since implementation, we’ve not only signed several large clients, but also saved countless hours.
  • Allstate
    Technical Project Manager
    Allstate Aug 2013 - Feb 2017
    Northbrook, Il, Us
The Allstate Corporation is the largest publicly held personal lines property and casualty insurer in America, serving more than 16 million households nationwide. The foundation of the organization lies in hands of agents, adjusters, and Claims employees that serve customers everyday. As a Project Manager I've lead various initiatives to help engage, obtain and retain the modern consumer.Recent Work:2016 - I worked on improving and increasing user adoption for the QuickFoto Claims App. I started my research through a Six-Sigma program. My findings detailed numerous areas of improvement and particularly highlighted inefficiencies within our QuickFoto Claims process. The QFC feature allows the customer to take pictures and submit a virtual car inspection. At first glance, the feature appeared to have an 85% click-through rate, but less than a quarter of inspections were actually completed. I further investigated the QFC feature – using event-based analytics, I discovered the largest drop-off to occur after attaching pictures. I reviewed a variety of solutions with our user experience/interface team and conducted a cost-benefit analysis. The highest CBA suggested to implement a login solution, which only required the claim number. We delivered the POC in under 6 weeks, collected user feedback and were able to demo it for our stakeholders. Since deployment, we’ve increased our QFC usage by over 40% and helped over 5,000 customers.2015 - The claim process is often stressful and can be a difficult time for the involved parties. but understanding the status of your claim shouldn't be. Understanding industry trends and using our market research, we developed a video solution. We created a customized video to inform our customers and provide updates throughout the process. The video helped decrease incoming call volume by 28% and increased overall customer awareness by 60%.
