I earned my bachelor degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2016. As a student, I had gained the broad knowledge in the field product design and manufacturing and has found myself interested in the same. Through my project in bachelor's on Design and Analysis of Race Car vehicle chassis, Throughout the project, I had learned the series of action to observe and analyze the problem carefully before working on its solution. For the same project, I had learned the simulation and CAD software like HyperWorks and CATIA V5. The design model of the whole chassis was constructed in CATIA V5 and the finite element analysis (FEA) of the chassis for various loading conditions were carried out in Hyperworks. Also in bachelor's, I had participated in the national level event SAE Supra a competition of student's Formula SAE car. I had also learned the various efficiency improvement techniques such as Just in Time, Six Sigma with the help of subjects such as industrial engineering and operation research.After graduating in Mechanical Engineering, I had further looked forward to continuing this field to gain deeper knowledge and that's what lead me to join master's program at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. With the knowledge of simulations and modeling software, I had chosen the project on laser annealing for silicon solar cells. This includes the simulations using finite element analysis for laser annealing with different laser fluences in ABAQUSTM and doing the experimental work to validate the same. For the characterization of the microstructure of laser annealed silicon wafers, I had learned to operate the scanning electron microscope (SEM). The laser annealing process was to replace the current fabrication process of silicon solar cells using traditional furnance annealing.
