Maximized equity asset returns via local market and comp analysis, lease negotiations, capital and expense management, and negotiating sale agreements. Ensured recovery on debt investments by working closely with borrowers, property managers, and third parties to identify and create solutions to credit weakness, emerging risks, performance and monetary defaults. Prepared risk rating recommendations, subsequent action plans, and loan modifications on troubled assets for presentation to senior management and investors.

Managed approximately 70 assets nationwide totaling $50M including office, retail, amusement parks, and land with $2.5M of sales within 8 months. Managed all aspects of REO properties assumed by the FDIC from failed institutions. Preserved and protected capital through, lease negotiations, clearing of title, facility analysis and repair, site visits, tax negotiations, and rent collection. Coordinated real estate dispositions to maximize recovery via brokerage, mass marketing efforts, and contract negotiations. Performed due diligence on new assets and participated in strike teams to close failed banks.

Generated detailed financial models to track performance of existing assets in Excel and Argus. Reviewed leases, rent rolls, capital expenditures, and loan documents (subscription financing agreements, fixed rate notes, and letters of credit) to ensure existing models are in-line with contracted amounts.
